The perfect Martini

I know, I know, there's no such thing as a perfect martini, but, sitting in La Paz, contemplating what I'm to do with the last joint of a little finger that was delivered to me today along with some missing hardware for my masthead, I figured I'd try a couple of 007's favorite drinks.

Not having Vermouth, I tried it with Dill Weed . . .no good, but did come upon a couple of other concoctions which I think you may like, I'll write them down as I try them.

What's your favorites?

Canelatini: Vodka sprinkled with cinnamon shaken in ice. Had 3 of those.

Saffronatini: Vodka sprinkled with Saffron, shaken with ice. (Note, this is Spanish saffron, the stamin of a crocus picked by nuns in the Pyranees) Yum Yum

Jalapenitini: Vodka with a bik slice of jalapeno hepper, shaken with ice.

Almejetini: Larrgeee clammm in botom of glasss with lot'sa vodka.

Cammmaaronatini: BBigshrimp wit's lotsa vooka inna thing n ice.

Pulpoatinitini; Thing with 7 legs im the cup n vdka icee

Frijolatninia: sum beans frm ystreday, vodca, yce n, o wat the hel, i fergot rest of it.

Who the hell are yu peope anway, where am I, an howninnahell did i get here?

Martini's are made with Gin you heathen. Sober up and get back to us. (You can see the degradation of the constitution set in by outward appearance as well as habit. Outwardly stable appearing cases will suddenly evince a preference for vodka over other spirits of a more respectable nature.)

Vodka please, no gin. Top shelf only.
Take the vermouth out of the cabinet and show it to the chilled glass, then put it back in the cabinet. Add three olives, one for the beginning, one for the middle, and one for the end. Multiply by twelve.

I meant multiply the whole process by twelve, not the olives.
