Well, SimonV has moved onto "Goodonya". Good thing its only the second worst storm of the season today. But he will do fine, hes got a great boat and a good deal. I think his internet may be limited for a while, until he gets things set up. But I will see him. We have some work and sailing to do. He wants to take a trip to the Farallones, which I have never done. So, if there is anyone in the area that would like to join us for the trip, let him know. Also, there will be a renaming ceremony soon, so sign up for that. Until then, all the best to SimonV for following his dream and conquering some big hurdles.

PS. He is in the Berkeley Marina and lots of daysails should be coming up too. I am sure he would love the crew help.

Yes, SimonV from Australia. I have been helping find a boat over the last several months. He came here almost three weeks ago to stay with me and find a boat. He pretty much had one in particular that he liked, and it turned out that it was the best one. He bought it and is now living on it. Over the next few months, before his visa runs out, he will get it ready and sail it back to Australia.

Thanks G. He is living on his boat now. I kicked him out, he ate all my cheetos

. Thats my boat, CS34. He bought an Ericson 39B. Here it is. Simon is a great guy and I look forward to having some more sails with him, especially on his boat.

Yes, I agree this site is great. Soon I will be in Chicago with a group from here! Not much sailing though.

Where's the adventure in that? Hes got friends that are going to sail with him. The boats been all over already, out to Hawaii and back, etc.

Yes, it is true my landlord (BF) evicted me on one of the worst storm days, constant rain and wind gusting to 40knots and forced me to live on my boat. No more Cable TV, but the PO of my boat was kind enough to let me piggy back on their internet provider. You Americans are the most generous people, either that of the PO's of my boat and BestFreind are very special people, whom I have the highest regard.
