When a good friend dies...

I had to put my Horse down today....He has been a family companion for 14 years...

All my Girls have learned to ride upon his back... and all have remained safe in doing so...He never bit of kicked anyone and only aimed to please...A loner but affectionet...Sure footed and spirited he seemed to always rise to the occasion no mater what you asked of him..

He will be sorely missed but never replaced... for Like you and I we are one of a kind..

SailorMitch will become famous soon enough
Sorry for your loss. We now know there are a bunch of animal softies on this board, so many thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. And what a handsome fellow. Very striking looking. And you can see his pride in how he carried himself and his rider in those pics. Thanks for sharing them.
