Second Hand Wind - Does it win races or kill ya

Enough said - to save Sway the effort... does second hand anything kill anyone?

Sailormon6 will become famous soon enough
Are we talking about sailing or politics, Jody? Does "second hand wind" refer to sail trim, or plagiarism?

If it refers to the second hand wind coming off a load of beans and brocolli I understand that while unplesant it can't kill you in a ventilated space.

If it refers to second hand wind coming off a sail, I doubt you can win a race on it - unless your boat is far more effective/efficient than the boat to windward. In that case you should not be using second hand wind any longer than it takes to pass.

If it refers to plagarism, who cares, if it applies to politics, see the first example, it's all the same.

I'll leave that up for you to decide - I have no opinion on the matter as I have no idea why I wanted to save anyone the labor of writing a post that they are more than capable of writing themselves....And if I did comment I would inadvertently plagiarize something as I am incapable of coming up with anything on my own really...except ellipses... (I really (I mean really truly) ...(dig them))...makes me feel that even though I failed 3rd grade math - I might have what it takes to be a mathematician (with words (usually short fragments to clarify (what I failed to actually state properly (I think I failed English too)) or to add another long winded tirade in lines but hating to break ((wind) or (a perfectly good paragraph))) but I like these.... even.. more... combined it is my own digital signature (...).

I forgot the point - can someone clue me back in?

It depends on how the wind is second hand in nature... if it has passed through sailhog's digestive tract...then it will clearly kill you, unless you're standing upwind of him.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
