Animal House Reunion

Thought some of you might enjoy this. An acquaintance of mine attended the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Animal House at the Hollywood Blvd. Theater. Six of the original cast members were in attendance: Karen "Katy" Allen, Peter "Boon" Riegert, Stephen "Flounder" Furst, Mark "Neidermeyer" Metcalf, Martha "Babs" Smith and Otis Day. Before the show the cast members talked about their favorite lines and experiences while filming the movie. They also signed autographs, answered questions from the audience, and then they wrapped it up with Otis Day who came out and sang "Shout!" That was a good time!

I was on an MSC oiler in the Med and that was the Captain's favorite movie. We watched it every Saturday night, when at sea, for eight months. We made the popcorn, he supplied the cigars. Funny thing, it never got old!
