Got'a Love Thoes Kids

Planning my free time to work on my boat nowadays takes a spread sheet or a computer program around my house.

Having 3 girls ( I know I Know ) 4 counting my beautiful wife, makes the most well thought out plan utterly worthless most of the time..

OK... I can factor in the soccer the tennis the Church activities, the music lessons and doctor appointments, birthday parties and impromptu sleepovers, and even play rehursals. when required of me...but things like intermittent PMS social coulsluar... or figuring out who, how or why so in so is mad at them, or they mad at the other sycoanalist MR. fix it guy Dad Thing.

I have a great family and enjoy my roll..but gezzz!... What class did is skip in school I shouldn't have?

Combine interests...

sailing is a meditive and healing experience. Take the daughter with the wounded feelings or the social puzzlement sailing with you. Talk about it out on the water. It will make everything better and you can tell them that working on the boat will give them something else to think about and take their mind off their troubles.

...Also, "My family owns a yacht, let me know if you want to come sailing" Is a great social lubricant at school. There's some cachet for them to bargain with and a "special" invite to issue to friends.

Sounds like a plan with no drawbacks...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

That's a big mistake...

look at Holland...the state it is now because of that...the moral and sociological decay it spun into...

Decent people fleeing the country while low lifes and druggies moved in...

Soon there will be no doctors, engineers accountants welders etc..all moved to neighbouring countires...

It will be a "New York 1997"
