I did my first ever snow samaritan job
Yep...
today as I drove to work I saw a car that was crossed sideways in another road leading to the road I was driving in.
It's been snowing constantly for 3 days now where I am and its pretty heavy and big.
So I passed the said car, and saw what seemed a desperate driver inside. I turned around and offered help.
The man in the car was really desperately stuck in the snow. I said I would help and use the front bumper of my Volvo XC90 to push him, he seemed happy I drove past, since he was stuck for over 20 minutes and his car menaced falling down a hill as he tried to move it.
The problem was his car was sideways and covered any possible way I could get behind his car.
So I exited my car and told him that I would push his car with my hands as he tried to spin the wheels.
So after 5 minutes pushing, I was able to, as he accelerated back and forth over the snow, turn his car so it would allow me to pass with the 4X4.
I did, had it in LOW and drove real slow to avoid spin my self, which would have dugged me too.
I passed behind him, turned around and gently pushed him with the Volvo'd bumper till he got back on the road. Once there I went my way and he went his way...
I felt good I helped someone today.....
There you have my first snow samaritan job.....I like the Canadians
