Yeah, sure, now that I think about it, You must be right, I am sure they made up a complete lie about this and published it. It could not possibly be true that Coleman has made this suggestion. I mean, we all know what a "pure" scientist Gore is. Coleman didn't say it. Fox made it up.

Great argument. So...following that...if Fox reports it, it can't be true. Fox ever printed anything Gore said? Guess that means it couldnt be true, either. Makes sense to me.

Uh, how many gallons of fuel an hour does his private jet burn while he charges $ 100,000. an evening PLUS expenses to educate all us stupid people? How many square feet of heated space does he require to live?

Maybe it's time Gore started pointing out that all those Chinese living in one place is the real reason the earth wobbles on it's axis. Gotta be a few hundred million bucks in that one, too.

Denial may be a great place to live but in this case, it doesn't bode well for our earth's future. Folks who disbelieve the climate change crisis remind me of Nero watching Rome burn - how did that work out?

Global warming, global cooling, sunspots, greenhouse gasses, and even bovine flatulence, what do they all mean to the welfare of mankind? Who the heck knows!

Although I don't know which group of scientists is correct in their predictions, I do know that two-bit politician AL Gore has become a multi-millionaire promoting the global warming scare and getting rich selling carbon offsets (what are these again?) He is hardly the guy I'd trust for my information.

Another thing I know that scientists still know very little about what controls the Earth's climate. Perhaps it's better to let global temperatures rise a bit, if the alternative is another Little Ice Age. Who knows?

The point I'm trying to make is that before we completely upset and bankrupt the U.S. economy in order to respond to a threat that may or may not exist, lets wait a bit longer to see what what science is able to prove for certain.

The founder of the Weather Channel wants to sue Al Gore for fraud, hoping a legal debate will settle the global-warming debate once and for all.

So... law suits can now decide what is scientific now? That makes no sense no matter what side of the fence you sit on.

the beauty of being a proponent of the the global warming issue is that you can't loose.
If the over all temp goes down in the next couple years they will say "see we educated everyone they stepped up and changed the global climate"
no one will be able to prove anything.
Unlike Doc Holiday Mr. Gores hypocrisy seems to know no bounds.

All I'm saying is that Fox has its agenda, which it does push. And yes, most all media outfits have an agenda. Also wondering how Mr. Weather Channel can explain all the ice melt at the poles if there really has been no increase in the earth's temps as he states? In fact, I think it's clear the average temp is rising.

Also agreed on the on the frustration with science being unable to prove/disprove the case to everyone's satisfaction. Also frustrating that Mr. Weather Channel still can't predict tomorrow's weather.

Anyone who was interested enough in this to look into all the facts and opinions is probably pretty well informed. The earth has gone through changes from the beginning. It will alwasy be going through some kind of change. It warms up. It cools down. Nothing is stable at sone ideal thermostatic balance forever. This is common sense. It's also history.

Basically, the real problem is that this planet is now overpopulated with a species of smart, two-legged rats. This will somehow eventually be brought back into balance, despite the best efforts of these smart rats to somehow make it possible to fit even more of their species on a finite amount of real estate. It can't go on forever. And it won't.
And drowning rats has long been one proven solution. Letting them multiply until they outbreed their food supply is another.

Evolve to accomodate the changing environment or become extinct. There really are not any other long term solutions. The idea of making the environment stop changing to accomodate the rats is pretty farcical when you stop to think about it.

Mr. Gore is a very good squeaker, I'll give him that.
