Milk-the movie
I'm taking bets this one closes before you even know that the movie opened.
It's a wrap - 'Milk' filming ends in S.F.
The historical point being that a wacked city supervisor killed two city leaders in San Francisco over the loss of his job. Oh, btw, one of the victims was gay, you know, homosexual. Here's guessing that the fundamental point to the movie, and both fundamental and point might be stretching it, is about being a poofter in the oppressive seventies in oppressive San Francisco. (Of course, in retrospect, that was the "gay seventies" before anyone realized that having indiscriminate anal sex with serial partners might not be healthy.)
Other than in Greenwich village and San Francisco this one will go straight to DVD and late night TV viewers will only wonder about the commercial with someone waving a twinkie. If you like your morality plays with all the subtlety of a vaudville wink this one should be a must see film of deep meaning.
