Question What to do with...

A LOT OF POTATOES???

I feel I should explain my question. I am an impulsive person, always have been, always will be. I also tend to forget the meaning of the phrase "Its only a deal if you need it." So as I am driving to the doctors of the past couple of years I notice signs going up saying, "Potatoes-White 50 lbs. 12.99" and on monday I decided that it was a great deal. Well, the rest, as they say, is history.

So my question to the fine people of Sailnet is, what can I make with all these potatoes? Any favourite recipe or honourable mention is appreciated.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Where did you find that deal? 50lbs of potato's makes alot of ammo for my anti powerboat gun(aka, Spudzuka).

Its a hobby of mine to see how far i can make a potato fly out of a 2'' piece of PVC.

These pics are of an older one i had. Worked great. The compressor on the Samurai would get them up to around 80psi, the shop compressor does about 150-175psi. A tube of dried up 5200 goes ALONGGG way with 160psi pushing it out of a 2'' barrel.

LOL Now combine that activity with the potato sack race - where shooting potatoes at the potato sack contestants - priceless all around NOTE: Only invite those you do not like for the sack race - those you like for the gunning half of the race...

Yea, you wouldnt want to shot anything living with that sucker. Ive got a smaller one with a 1'' barrel that can stick a spark plug into a tree.

Most of mine are air powered. Ive got one that works on hairspary, thats the boat one. Its fun to use at night, nice big flame.
