Independant Scotland?

A fairly well known Scot advances the cause of Scottish independence.

Rockter will become famous soon enough
Connery should begin by living here.
That way he might know a little about what it's like to have to make a living.
How easy it is to be a nationalist when you don't live here.
There is not popular sentiment for this ticket... at the last call, about 23%, and falling.
Connery should stick to James Bond and stay quiet on Scotland. He hasn't lived here for decades. His first loyalty is to his tax bill... not Scotland.

The party driving these divisions is old socialism disguised as nationalism, the Scottish Nationalist Party... the SNP Lilliputians... the smaller the better, but leave the oil.
From oil revenues, they have to finance pensions, police, army, air force, navy (6 diesel electric submarines planned, apparently), diplomatic service, parliament, social security benefits (1/3 of the working polulation of Glasgow is on incapacity benefit).
All of that from oil, rampant taxes (65% income tax was a past plan), 3% property taxes levied on salary (not income).
Apparently they plan to be able to find oilmen (after they have all left) to find it for them.
At every step they try to create divisions, and chant the independence mantra as a "solution".
All of that and its risks, for a new flag over the town hall.
Not for me.
Beware, and beware the absent cheerleader Connery.
