New Mercury Motor! MATURE ONLY!, powerboat shown

CAUTION MATURE ONLY!! A Powerboat is shown!
I've been thinking of buying some axillary power for the boat and liked this motor.

I looked at some in the store but they didnt look as good as the one pictured. (typical of advertising)

All joking aside. we bought a Merc 8hp 4 stroke for the 25 footer and a 3.3 two stroke for the dink.
the 8hp runs very smooth and quiet but i think is a bit of overkill for the boat, plus it weighs in at around 80 lbs.. the 3.3 on the dink runs nice too but smokes (as two strokes do) and i think is a bit underpowered. not much but a little. if i had to do it again, i would get a 6hp for the 25' as well as the dink.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
