Anyone in Boston?

I'm gonna be in Boston tomorrow thru late Thursday - weather is actually nice (compared to seattle) - anyone here to entertain a AFOC? My only other option is study the three CD set of "How to Photo-Chop Like a Portuguese", and since I had lamb for dinner in NYC - I kinda feel like I took any extra-curricular activities from well known Portuguese, if he was ever to visit here....so, would feel guilty learning something useful in that context...

Sorry Jody, stuck working in the South Coast and down at the marina this week. Would recommend you go get some good seafood at the Boston Sail Loft, which is right on Boston Harbor. Try getting over to Fanueil Hall as well, and have some Boston Baked Beans at Durgin Park there.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thanks SD, I am gonna cut my trip short. Boston out of the last other cities is much more friendlier - got some time walking around... I dunno as you get older the lure of staying in some places you have been before not knowing folks just gets to one.

But it is interesting.

In SF - people were polite but necessarily nice.

NYC people were just eh - too wired or bored with themselves to care.

Boston - friendliest I have seen since living down south. Kinda weird in a sense as its not a New England thing. I used to live on the East Coast from Charleston, Orlando, Philly, Burlington.... Its been about 8 years since being back now since moving to Seattle..So kinda accustomed to the flavors so to speak.. Was kinda surprised with boston actually then again the temps were 80... kinda like Seattle - warmer it gets the warmer people get..

Seattle has its pluses but it is hardly a friendly place - less those you meet from forums such as this...Train ride from NYC - every boat was still shrink wrapped... so no surprise I guess...

At any rate thanks for the suggestions...
