What does everyone drive...

Well we know what kinds of boats we all have, but what do we all use on land. I know there are some on here that dont have a car, but for those that do, what do you have?

Ive got a 1988 Ford F250 diesel. Its a bit overkill for me, but i got it for a decent price. Before it i drove a 1978 Datsun truck. Ive still got the Datsun, but its for yard use now.

Datsun

I have a Honda Element. The seats either fold or are removed very easily, and it can carry a huge volume of boat toys and tools and stuff. Since I don't have a dock box, I store all my junk in it all summer. It's a great little carry-all, with typical Honda reliability.

TrueBlue is a jewel in the rough TrueBlue is a jewel in the rough TrueBlue is a jewel in the rough
We buy new cars every couple years, with me typically choosing an SUV, since my architectural site inspections usually require 4WD. Years ago, I drove Mercedes and Volvos - but recent vehicles included full size GMC Yukons, Tahoes and currently a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

My wife has typically always had 2-door sporty cars, Acura TL, Mazda RX, etc. Last time though, I bought her a Jeep Liberty - which she loves.

So, we're a planet destroying, gas guzzling, 2 SUV family. But it's better than the five-car family we were when our kids lived at home. My son had two cars, my daughter one, along with ours in the garage.

EDIT- neglected to mention they're both paid for - never lease, even my business vehicle. We always pay cash or borrow with simple interest / 24 month term.

1. it's paid for. 2. It's reliable. and 3. It's perfect for lugging dead bodies around.
