American Satelitte radio in Europe

I have a question for you electronics wizzards..

The Hertz Mustang I rented here in the US has a satelitte radio. Sirius..if I am not mistaken.

I like to listen to 105, that has the comedy stuff.

If I buy the radio in the US with the satelitte thing, will it work in Europe?

Nope. It won't even work under an overpass here. Our system uses two Satelittes over each coast pointing inward.

I love it too. I really like the lack of commercials on the music stations! Europe doesn't have that kind of system yet?

Gee, I thought between the blue collar comedy channel and the purse-seiner channel it'd be a natural for Portugal. (g)
