Knothead,
Congratulations, you are going to the big show!
Nice to be quoted. Glad you didn't use the thread with all the misspellings!
Me and John McCain, learning to use the computer.
Thank you, I have sombody to root for in the world series "my friend". The underdog!
Being an underdog fan myself...ANGELS.
Don't worry what Obama thinks about sports. he will change his mind next week.

They may be for real but they didn't appear to show up last night. Go Phillies!

I can't find much fault in the way either team played last night.
Good pitching, (Phillies a little better), Good defense for the most part.
The only person who should be ashamed is that fan who let Ryan Howard catch that foul pop-up in the stands.
I heard someone say that if Carlos Pena tried that in Philly, he would be lucky to get his arm back.

That last statement is probably true. Phillies pitching will not be of the same caliber tonight as it was last night. Should be a good game. High probability that Saturday nights game here will be rained out.

Knotty... Well the Rays DID lose...but you hae nothing to apologise for here.
You are a true fan among all the disbelievers and the Rays did prove they are VERY much for REAL this year! Way more real than 28 other teams. Better luck in the end next year...as long as my Mets and Yanks aren't in the way!!

You're a sensitive soul Cam. I'm all better now though. Or at least will be before I come back. Thanks

A great season, Knotty. You'll remember it for a long time. As the spring approaches try to remind yourself of how hard it is just to get to the World Series. It'll keep things in perspective. Don't ask me how I know this.

What kind of FLID roots for the Yankees and the Mets? Talk about a front runner!
