You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Yeah, I know. I'm really sorry.

Maybe now that I apologized the Sox will lose a few.

Those Red devils pitched a freaking nono last night. And after I apologized to SD too.

Hey Cam, glad you chimed in. You're right, I am a fan. I love the game. I should probably apologize to all those who don't. They probably think I'm some sort of a moron.

Baseball, IMHO is the epitome of an organized game. It reflects life, with all it's tragedies and triumphs, It's a game of skill and happenstance. It's a team sport comprised of individual efforts. It's the perfect game.

BTW, I like the Mets too, It's those damn Yankees I hate.

I woke up at 0200 to see the last out in Oakland. Those Rays don't like to make it easy on themselves but they won.

I knew I had a few things in common with you knothead . . . I hate them Yankees too.

How about Lester's no-hitter last night in Fenway - 18th in Boston's history.

I might acknowledge the no-hitter but I'll be damned if I'll be happy about it.

OK - let's go off topic. Pittsburgh and Detroit in the Stanley Cup final, it doesn't get better than this.

I've been ignoring this thread for two weeks and the whole time I figured it was about those slimmy things with wings that swim around in the shallows.

I had no idea that we were talking about baseball again.

I'm heading to US Cellular Field (Formerly known as Comiskey Park) right now to watch the First Place AL Central White SOX. GO SOX!
