eheheh this is funny....

I got home today, and received Luis's grades...

YES!!! he has got grades in school...at 2 years of age...man..I really wish you could understand it...it's sooo funny...

I'll translate some of the reports from his teachers..I am laughing so hard..

SOCIALIZING/SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

Luis likes to help, and cooperates when it's time to tidy the class room, but sometimes, brings a toy back. He is getting kinder towards the other kids, as he now understands he hurts the other kids as they have the same age, but are smaller than him. He allways makes sure he appologizes after hitting someone. A big improvement. He has many friends and buddies.

AUTONOMY/ LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

Luis is a very independent child, and extremely autonomous, he already eats alone and refuses help in eating. He does eat a lot more than the other children.
He presents a good linguistic development. knows all parts of the body and most animals and their noises.

GLOBAL MOTRICITY / FINE MOTRICITY

Luis has a great motricity value, he never walks, just runs.
He can dance very well, but some coreographies are not for his age (WELL HERE, JUST ASK JOEL!!!! Luis was dancing the Sex Bomb for Jayme..eheheheh). Luis has very good corporal movements and physical abilioties, he is extremely strong. (eheheeh must be from winching on the boat!!)

then the report in the second page has a list of the learning schedule of the kids, goes like this: (1 does not show, 2 shows sometimes, 3 shows many times, 4 shows allways)

SKILLS

1) Roll a ball with both hands - 4
2) Kick a static ball - 4
3) Crawl under a chair without touching it - 4
4) Catch a ball with both hands - 4
5) Rolls towards left and right - 4
6) Hits a stationary object wit a ball at a distance of 1.5 meters - 3 (looks like he will not be a tactician)

BALANCE

1) Transposes obstacles, of different heights and sizes - 4
2) Climbs stairs alone - 4
3) Walks backwards using the same trajectory - 4 (hey the kid can navigate)4) repeats circular paths - 4 ( hey hey hey we have a bouey racer here)
5) Repeats and maintains balance positions with only one foot) - 2 (I guess he does'nt handle heeling too much)
6) Moves on the ground using variable animal movemnts - 3 (my son is not a clown...he will eventually hire someone to do emabrrassing stuff for him)
7) Jump with both feet together - 3
8) Moves over a Swedish seat with help - 4

GAMES

1) Practices games following the rules - 4
2) Understands the games - 4
3) Team work - 4
4) Does't creat conflict - 4

Rate of wining > 85%

BEHAVIOUR / LEARNING
1) Participates and learns - 4
2) Cooperates is storing material - 3

So now you ask me what do you have to do with this and why am I posting this...

simple..my son is 2 and I alredy see he has some needed characteristics to be a sailor, and a good one too...tell me when you read all the above, which of the skills did you not want to have if you are in a boat racing or cruising??

see what I mean??

Now for the funny part...I got a letter saying that I have to parctice jumping with one foot and jumping in the same place with him...and yukkkk play animals on the ground with himmmso bye for now..have to go impersonate a Lion, and a giraffe...

Is that report a description of Luis or his father?

"knows all parts of the body and most animals and their noises"

Alway apologizes after hurting someone and eats a lot more than others his age. None of these would be unrecognizable to the IHOP staff at O'Hare airport. There's little doubt as to which parent Luis takes after!

Clinically insane but good value. (That's you, Alex, not Luis, mind you he shows potential. )

Wombat in grumpy mode today, do not want to be here, thanks for the lighten up.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
