I'm CC and I don't leave Negative Reps. If I don't like what someone posts, I don't say anything, except in that same thread. So unless somebody's copying me, the software screwed up. Matter of fact, I don't think I've ever left a Neg Rep, even when Fastbttms pee'd me off.

Nah, I don't mean totally random, just outside this particular thread. They have to contribute some or they don't get rated.

Note that originally the intent was to spread it to lessor known people, that post sporadically - or have been recently active in discussions with input that is positive,knowledgable, or provides good insight. It encourages those posting that there is some value to their contributions, as well as encourages continued thoughtful posts.

Should not merely be used just as a weapon of mass popularity. However, if it makes one feel good - then so be it

As for the neg repper on this thread - plenty of other postings for you to play around on. We can understand your not in the spirit of things.

I did give (or hope I did) give post rep for everyone that participated in this thread)... as well as a myriad of ones in posts that I read. I do not think I missed anyone but could be possible ...

Others who indicated they had gotten a negative rep by the fake SD thought it was related to posting on the AFOC thread. Were you on that thread recently? I posted to test the theory but so far no one has dinged me. We seem to have a troll amongst us.

I didn't think I had been on the AFOC thread, but after I looked back I had posted there less than 24 hrs before the knock from "SD".

OK... here is something interesting: I got positive rep "From CC" yesterday and then this morning i got another positive rep from "Charlie".... so CharlieCobra could not have given me both of them. Someone is neg repping AND positive repping under a false name. I'm definately not complaining but... wtf?
