Successful or not, it's still a great hobby . . . for a bachelor, that is.

Adding those words at the end were probably very wise, especially if Mrs. TB ever takes a look at the forum here.

I see that Mrs. TB has decided that any time freed up by the sale of the boat is required to be spent on her "Honey Do" list. Nice to see that it works that way for other people too.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

We had this same topic not long ago..have a read here.

This is what I wrote then..no changes...

My family is my life, my boat is my passion, the sea is what calls me.

However, sometimes I paint and build wooden models. Please don't laugh. I am not an artist. I do these to cover the walls, and can only paint boats. My wife is the real artist. I will load her paintings, her's are true art.

Here are mine.

These are the wooden boats. mostly portuguese boats.

this one bellow I build at age 15.

My attaempt at a dead nature eheheheh really dead..

My favorite hobby also is I collect cuban cigars from many vintages, smoke them and rate them to a local magazine.

When I was younger..built many many of these, sometimes I go fly them with Fred...

used to be a long time hobbie, not so much now...the belly you know

This was a hobbie from 1997 to 2000, 125 unlimited

And this is my long time gone hobbie, or whats left of it...

Between the kids, wife and sailboat, I'm already spending 110% of my time. And yet I still manage to squeeze some in for Sailnet and work.
