Is this a sea-worthy cat?

It sure has funny looking sails...

i think that might be the ferro model with 215 feet draft, very sturdy and no need to watch the shoals as you will just grind them to dust, moves very slow though. and i dont think you need ground tackle with that model.

sailingfool will become famous soon enough
eMKay,

You're not an alias for that Portugee Alex, are you? That picture looks like Mr. Giulietta has been busy in Photoshop again, and has successfully morphed CD's Catalina into a UFO.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It took some digging, but I found it.

Sea-Based X-Band Radar is a floating, self-propelled, mobile radar station designed to operate in high winds and heavy seas. It is part of the United States Government's Ballistic Missile Defense System.
