Missing Sailneters

Thinking about Alex taking a break (BTW, I don't think he'll stay away for long, where else is he going to photoshop?) got me wondering who has checked out in the past 6 months or so. I can think of USCGRet, gringos, and HoffaLives. Gringos signed off but the other 2 just evaporated. Any others?

I agree I never thought I could break the sailnet habit. But spending 3 weeks in the hospital back in November really did help. I still spend some time here, but no where like before.

I thought HoffaLives's disappearance was a big loss for sailnet.

Edit, maybe the Teamsters needed him back.

If I wasn't gluing the keel back on to one boat and sawing the lid off another, I would be sailing and not posting. As it is, I am salving my aching muscles with Touriga Nacional (ask Alex) and some horse liniment.

All this will lead to further sailing, certainly, but right now, I have two mastless boats bow to bow at my club. I shuttle back and forth, sawing and grinding and bailing as needed....

He definitely had a different take on life. I kinda miss USCGret wisdom and Gringos pictures. But life goes on.
