I remember watching WK at grandparents house! What a show at times. Still some similar ones on, but to some degree, not sure how to say, a bit too show bizzy?!?!?! not as good?

Or how about dang it, brain fart, travel NW? what was the guy's name, that was good one too, wish one could find reruns. I think tapes are availible. IIRC it was on KOMO?

Better yet, good ol JP patches! He was at my sisters 40th Bday party! What a hoot!

His widow showed one of his films of his trip to Princess Louisa inlet at the boat show a couple years ago. It was a very good production.

Re: JP Patches. When we moved out here to Washington from Montana in '64 I remember turning on the television set one morning and finding that it got more than one channel (we only got one channel in Bozeman) Anyway, JP Patches was the morning routine before school, Brakeman Bill was after school. Later, I was one of the Audio/Visual boys at school, and at one of the school assemblies I ran the projector for JP Patches. Got a signed poster and met Gertrude too.

Why is that tune "Glory Days" running through my noggin?

Ah, we're really showing our age by talking about watching JP in the morning before school, only way to start the day. Laurie went to the taping of one of his shows, highlight of her life (just kidding honey). And let's not forget Stan Boreson while we are digging up the past, I think of him every time I hear an accordian.

Wanda Wanda anyone? I remember stan boreson. I think he wnet off about the time as did wanda wanda I was 6 or 7, mid to late 60's?

Sister was on JP's show while in Brownies, Brake man bill showed up for a fundraiser for my cub scout troop, He (brakeman bill) proceeded to pour milk down my pants as part of a magic show he was doing etc.

Those were the days!
