2. A couple of years later when renewing my Maritime license at the USCG Regional Station, I asked the people behind the counter to please change my birth date to 1960. They refused while laughing and put a picture of an even older man on my Mariner's documents.
3. Two days ago I had to renew my USN Retiree ID card and ask if they would change my birth date to 1960 and again they refused while snickering and again put a picture of an old man on my ID card.
Now with the above evidence at hand, I have shown that your governments will not let us age at a more leisurely rate.
Now what can we do about this?? Protest? Hold meetings? Do sit in at government offices? What can we do?
Do any of you have an answer?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
