A video for Cruising Dad

Shot this video last weekend.
(When everybody was in better moods)

Brian, your not the only one who knows how to cook on a Q!

Alex on board Julianna

And I know, the camera operator hits the shutter at the end to try and stop recording. It just adds the the humnor of the day.

CD might appreciate the fact that a few hundred yards away the Sheriff's Dept. was dredging and diving to recover a body. Didn't seem to put any of us off our feed though. It was a matter of some contention though that the master of Julianna claimed the Rolex watch that came up with the anchor for himself while casually mentioning to the deputies, upon departure, "have you thought about trying over there?". And whose body do you think the deputies were dredging for perhaps? There was the small matter of converting austrailian dollars to US dollars so as to afford the bratwurst of course. (g)

Actually I forgot all about the body.
I think Julie heard that it was someone who was attending a party on one side of the river while his friends were on the otherside of the river.
He dicided to go for a midnight swim to reach his friends on the other side, not a good idea. Lake water temps are still in the mid 40's, river might have been a couple of degrees higher.

Actually (after reading the atricle) the guy was out celebrating his upcomming wedding. Still not a good reason to jump in the water at 2:00AM

WOODTV.com & WOOD TV8: Grand Rapids news, weather, sports and video | Man's body found in Kalamazoo River

I wonder if our prop wash helped dislodge him?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
