Sailing in Orange Beach Al ? area???

Family and I will be in Orange Beach Al. for a family vacation (June 19-25)... Does anyone have a suggestion on renting a sailboat for a day. We would most likely like a 1 day or 1/2 day trip (little kids will not last much more that that).

Or if someone would like to trade a sail on their "real" boat with a sail on my beachcat (Hobie 18) let me know.

Thanks

Can't help you with the charter but I thought I would ask, do you have accomodations? My sister own's a vaction rental in Perdido Key. (Just over the boarder in FL) If your interested......... go to Rosie's Landing for more information.
Admin, am I allowed to do that?

Orange Beach is really more of a charter fishing town. The only bareboat charters I know of in the area are in Pensacola. However there are a couple of crewed charters in the area.
The TJ Spithre in Josephine, Al Sailing & Motor Boat Cruises
And the Daedalus in Orange Beach Sail the Daedalus
Both are good looking, well cared for craft with professional crews.
As for trading out let me do some checking around and I'll PM you if I come up with anything.

Talking Orange Beach Sailing

I know this is an old thread but just wanted to mention a new sailing charter company in Orange Beach. They have several different sailing trips available. I don't think they rent sailboats thought, only chartered trips with a captain.
