There are more problems than those brought up in that video

For example: My wife is one of those who can see the flicker. So fluorescent lights of any kind drive her batty. That includes CFLs, apparently. I tried putting them in. She couldn't stand them.

Our house has X-10 controls all over the place. The ones on all the incandescent lights are all light (dimmer) modules. They won't work on CFLs. So are we to sacrifice all that automation (which, btw, allows us to conserve energy) on the alter of CFLs? I'm thinkin' I'm not likely to do that.

Maybe instead of importing Wine in our holds as suggested in another thread... it will be a Holds full of Light bulbs....definitely weighs less...aliebt a little fragile..

No balls. Congressman Poe should have dropped the bulb and let it break. Only one of two things could have happened; they'd have had to either evacuate the House chamber or admit the EPA are asses. Lastly they might have said, what a stupid law.
