A New and Smarter CD may be on the way!

Those who've witnessed the sad and inexorable decline of one of the great grilling maestros of our time may have cause for renewed optimism. While speculation as to exactly which organic compounds inhaled by CruisingDad have caused the precipitous decline in cognitive abilities, as well as the ability to get a flapjack out of the skillet, there may now be hope that a technology not unsimilar to the one on board his boat, which unfortunately was linked to his sterility, may be able to restore at least some brain function.

Can a solar powered version be far off?

I heard on Paul Harvey recently that they have come up with something similar that supposedly stops migraine headaches.
Will wonders never cease?

My favorite part of the article:
"Half the people in this room could build this type of device with parts from RadioShack," Wassermann told a crowd at a neurotechnology conference in Cleveland last week."

Perhaps explaining CruisingDad's absence from these pages of late.

Paul Harvey! We used to listen to him at lunch time (when I did track housing work), while sitting in a garage enjoying our brown bag lunches...I haven't heard him in ages.

You're setting the bar awfully low. Saying that you can get a smarter CD is like saying you can make Death Valley wetter.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Just a thought. I don't think that CD is the type of guy to limit himself to just a nine volt battery, do you?

Actually, I think I was listening to Paul Harvey Jr. The original hasn't been around of late.
His beloved wife Angel died earlier this year and then he was stricken with pneumonia.
I expect to hear him one of these days soon giving his swan song.
The guy is truly an American institution. I'll miss him.

I won't. He was America's greatest propagandist.
