Why Is This Board So Slow?

WHY IS THIS BOARD SO SLOW?

Yes, all caps. Shouting! This Board is incredibly slow, always, but recently it's maddening.

Been in the IT business for over 15 years. If you guys need some help, please shout. There's simply no reason for this, no matter what.

Bill

Bill,

I found that if you quit explorer and launch a new window, it helps. It has been bad for the past few days. Last night I turned off the computer because it was so slow.

It's SD's internet robot multiposting to several threads at once; coupled of course with the Commodore 64 they have running the site hooked to the internet via a 9600 baud modem on a dual use community phone line from Arkansas routed through Canada for tax purposes.

It took me 47 minutes to post this

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Not slow at all for me right now but last night was maddening. Trying to catch up after a long weekend, waited and waited and finally said to hell with it.
