If you are in the right part of the world you can see the solar eclipse, if you aren't you can watch it live on NASA TV.

A newly discovered comet, C/2008 O1, is also scheduled to have it closet approach to the sun during the eclipse, astronomers may be able to track it while it is sucked into the sun.
