The Censorship of Tolerance
The insidious threat of violence has reared it's ugly head once again. It seems, that while we can speak good or ill of anything else, any thoughts on Islam, are subject to the censorship pen of the gun and bomb.

Yet, how many times are we told, that Islam is not violent? That we must accommodate the "feelings and sensibilities" of it's adherents, while they denigrate us?
Items such as this should be a wake-up call to all of those who espouse we need merely "go along, to get along". It ain't gonna happen.

.."a decline in courage can be considered the beginning of the end". How true, I never thought I would see this in the USA. Sad.

It does make you wonder what the victims of 911 would have to say about this? Is this not in a way shaming their honor?

I'd be interested to know how Random House arrived at their decision. Was it a bean counter or risk assessment dude who figured that the minimal profit wasn't worth the cost in possible damage? Was it an attempt to be P.C. with no real risk had they published it?
