You read that article, you observe the time off that Congress is taking, and you can only wonder why we do not make it a part-time job for them by law. Essentially, they've adjourned for the rest of the year-yet they'll still be paid. We should return to a more limited congressional schedule, along with a more limited congressional remuneration. It's not like they solved the social security insolvency problem and deserve a well-earned rest.

I hope Babs Boxer pushes this issue 'cause it ain't gonna play quite the way she thinks it will, in Peoria. And Coburn is just ballsy enough to fight her on it, perhaps imparting spine to those who've apparently lost their's.
