Why is Joad Cressbeckler not an option?

Your poll stinks.

I watched the RNC convention this week and learned something very interesting.... Even Cindy McCain is more qualified than JoBama.

This poll will be a bit skewed... Due to the fact that most sailors are self sustaining and really don't depend on Government to make decisions for them. Thus they are a bit more conservative and tend to expect other people to be self supporting and not be on the dole.
Now if this poll was at "moveon.org" then it would be skewed the other way because they are socialists and expect everyone to be on the dole and have the government to make their decisions for them.

Yep... totally agree.

Polls are really Meaningless

I realize many are encapsulated by the latest poll.. Lets remember that the polsters have been wrong this election. We seen this in the primary... There are probably many who answer the phone and state support for osama or walked out of the primary booth and stated likewise... People do not want to be labled as being racist which is what most in the media are doing to those who do not support osama... The Rev sharpton and Jackson crowd has already said that white people will not vote for osama because of his race- what they always neglect to mention is that osama gets 95% of the black vote... This does seem to me as a double standard.. This race tells us One thin- and thats that the polsters get it wrong most of the time...

I won't vote for Obama. If that makes me a racist in the eyes of some: So be it. But the truth is I won't vote for Obama because of his politics. Primarily because of his anti-Second Amendment and anti-self-defense positions. He wants to turn us into government-dependent, lily-livered cowards, more in fear of what our government will do to us if we do defend ourselves than what the criminals will do if we let them have their way. He claims to "support the 2nd Amendment," but his history reveals a strong antipathy toward the 2nd, self-defense, or self-reliance in any form. IOW: He's a typical left-"liberal."

The media! *spit* I've no respect for the dominant media. Doesn't matter to me, their inane nattering.

You noticed that, did you? "The media" has no qualms mentioning how "Obama isn't getting much traction with middle-class working whites," (read: "rednecks") repeatedly, but really low-keys how McCain is apparently getting even less traction amongst black voters. No racism there. (Note sarcasm.)

Ya think? If McCain had said anything even remotely as denigrating and offensive as "So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them..." he would've been trussed-up, spitted, and roasted to a fine turn by the dominant media.

"The media" has no choice, tho. If they covered the truth in an unbiased fashion, then they'd feel obligated to call themselves "racists." Oops.

Btw: I voted in this poll just as I'll probably vote in the General Election: "None of the above."

Jim

As I understand it, of Barry's 4 paternal great grandparents, 3 of them were East African Arabs. For centuries, how did East African Arabs make a living? That's right, they were slave traders. The irony of Black America voting in lockstep for a descendant of the people who enslaved their ancestors is wonderfully delicious.

I will be voting for McCain, and months ago I hoped he would pick CT's own Joe Liebermann, but I have to admit that Joe is a bit staid. Palin, on the other hand, is a bona fide God-lovin', fly fishin', moose huntin' ultra hottie. I find myself daydreaming, wondering what she's wearing under those waders. You know what, Jody should paint Palin. Sigh. If only Jody could get her to pose like that redhead.

The polls claim the race is close. I remember the NYC mayoral race between David Dinkins and Rudy. The polls claimed that Rudy was going to lose, but he won big. Seems that lots of folks, white and black , lied. Allow a 10 point difference between polls and reality.
