A poll on cheap Portagees

Coincidence that Giu is back in the US and communicating like mad with everyone he has not talked with in the last six months? I think not. The reason he's available for communication is the readily available telephone service that he's not paying for. He only calls if someone else is paying for it. This sounds like a good sailnet poll question. Has anyone ever received a phone call from Giu that he was actually paying for.

Sway-

Unfortunately, you screwed up when you set this poll up... since I'd say that multiple choice would have made much more sense... I can see at least five answers that apply.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Oh, shoot, I voted before I read the whole thing.
Actually he has called on his dime, but I voted for the "I thought it was a drunk", becuse most times when he calles its just a bunch of laughter.

joeybkcmo is on a distinguished road
not to long ago I did receive a recorded message asking if "I would accept a collect call from the Okla. State Penitentiary". It may have been him, I did not accept the call.
