WA State Governor vs Palin

YouTube - Sarah Palin - Fox Interview - Sean Hannity Part 2

Listen to AK's Governor understanding Her State Constitution and managing Her Budget- Giving People back THEIR MONEY--- Empahsis Whose Money is it? She created many new jobs to come in the future- getting the OIL companies to pay for a Pipeline (private money- private sector jobs) that create STATE REVENUE....

My lousey WA state Governor- According to State Senator Jerome Delvin- We are losing Jobs- We are spending 34% increase on state budget while only increasing state budget by 17%... Sounds like living on a CREDIT CARD..
WA State will take in 1/2 a billion less in Job created revenue- increasing our state DEFECIT to 3.5 BILLION... Wait Sarah Palin has a FIVE BILLION SURPLUS...

I like this Governor Palin....

PS.. We ALL know how WA state Governor Greggior intends to get reelected- (Blame Bush)- probably will work here in WA State... We also know how she will balance the budget- Raising every possible tax she can find- The notion of increasing Jobs and the tax revenue is forighn to her and also offensive to the environmental groups and other special interest groups she needs to obtain power..

Stillraining is a jewel in the rough Stillraining is a jewel in the rough Stillraining is a jewel in the rough
And my property taxes which they raised a cool even round number of 100K last year ( no that is not a typo error and I live in a 1959 built home ) and if they don't lower it by that same amount this year after all the light has been shed on the fhoney baloney inflated mortgage market value ripoff scandal I'm not paying them.

( Explanation...I will get my own appraisers licence and appraise my own house )

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I feel your pain

Stillraining... I understand what your dealing with... I own my home outright so I just make my payments to USAA insurance and of course to the WA state pigs.. The services I get stinks... My other half locks me here in WA state until retirement.. We have a second home and it is a 100 year old shack in Everett.. The taxes are twice what my brother pays in eastern WA and he lives in a 3500 sqft house on the Columbia river... They get great schools and EMS services... That community is run by conservative republicans where as I am at the mercy of very left wing liberals with failing schools.. My better half is a teacher and I could discuss our crappy school system and I know it is not do to a lack of property taxes...

Sailingdog... Not sure that getting an appraiser qualification matters.. Are you talking maket value or County auditor? big difference... The auditor has my house at 400K but the market could get much more...

I love Alaska for my retirement as far as money goes... As a retired Marine with enough sharp metal and pins- I pay NO property taxes on the first 150K of my home... Sadly, I speant ALL my service in the mid east via Southern CA and I am not so fond of 40 below zero... Also wonder what sailing would be like. I am thinking AK probably does not have many live aboards? I am just speculating and that could be another thread- lol... I know that the san juans are some of the most spectacular sailing areas as well as the guld islands.. Thinking AK would rival such views- just wonder about the weather inducing limitations....
