The weakness of a Wade Phillips coached team is a lack of urgency and fear. No one on the Cowboys is in fear for their job, hence a lack of focus and a lack of urgency
Tom Coughlin of the Giants runs a tight ship, not as tight as it once was, but tighter then many NFL teams. He also fined Plaxico Burress $240,000 and sat him down for a game for missing practice and not calling to say he wouldn't be there.

Looks like we could sit in the upper reaches (at either) for about $250.

I have no knowledge of how it is at Soldier Field but tickets for Lambeau on Bears week are tough to get and very expensive. For any game but Bears or Vikings I can usually get something for under $100 and something good for $125-$150. $125 is my limit for any game.

Your StubHub research is interesting, and makes my Bears at Lambeau point. I could have had tickets to the GB-Seattle playoff game last year for $150 each! But then beating the Bears is more important than the playoffs, right?

What does one think might be the attitude within the locker room of a team where the owner supplies one player with four (4) bodyguards, on a rotational basis, and the player still manages to get in trouble with the law? It might no matter as the 'Jints show no sign of taking their foot off the gas pedal.[/i]

No argument here.

How 'bout those Stars!!!

Ouch!
Everybody gets injuries but the Cowboys seemed to have rolled snake eyes this weekend. Losing the game is turning out to be the least of it.

I'd say that the 'Jints got thoroughly thumped by the Browns. But I'm reminded that the Packers put a pretty good beat down on them last year and the Packers watched the Super Bowl from the same place I did; sitting on the couch.

All of which just goes to show, that's why they play the games. You only have to make the play-offs and you've got a shot if you're peaking at that time. And I guess everyone knows that being perfect only matters until you aren't.

MNF did some flashbacks to the first MNF game broadcast. Reminded me how great the eventual team of Gifford, Meridith, and Cosell were. Actually, you could have dumped Gifford for someone else and it's have still been great. Meredith never gets the credit he deserves for the shows' success either. It's been many a year since I tuned in to a game of no interest to me. When those guys were in the booth it was "must see TV".
