More sad news...sorry

With all the sad news going around and with the loss of Courtney, i'm sorry to say I have more to add. this week my 10 year old son Chris was Diagnosed with Diabetes (just confirmed today). he's a die hard sailor and a good helper on the boat staining all the new bulkheads himself.


So far he's taking it better than anyone else in the household. wish him luck. i'm afraid it's going to be a long journey.

BJ - hang in there. My 7 year old nephew has diabetes, uses a pump, the whole nine yards. And he's as active and fun-loving as any kid out there. The treatment options now days are great. God bless you guys.

My understanding is that this is all pretty manageable, even in kids. Still must be pretty hard on you all.

A friend's son had a similar diagnosis at Chris' age. He's doing great 6 years later.
