The Senates "Don't call it a bailout" plan

heres the link
http://www.c-span.org/pdf/hr1424_100108.pdf
Starting on page 310, is the "mental health " provisions.
Is that so we can be covered if we get depressed over this?

I did notice that "goofy bast**ds" are still not a covered group.

oh, yea, lookie here on page 300, section 503...
gotta love these twits...
SEC. 503. EXEMPTION FROM EXCISE TAX FOR CERTAIN
WOODEN ARROWS DESIGNED FOR USE BY CHILDREN.

its gonna be fun wandering thru this mess.

I had no idea that the childrens arrow market was in trouble. Where has my head been?

Didn't they learn their lesson after JARTS?

Now I have the urge to go out and buy a dozen or two, just to do my part, doncha know.

Oh, geez, doesn't the "Department in charge of watching out for pointy things" have a memo?

What about the EPA, I'm sure some lil kid is gettin' ready to soil his pants because his brother just pointed a pointy thing at him. Thats gotta be some kind of violation, whats the fine for that?

What about PETA? Aren't they a-skeered that some kiddy-manson is going to skewer a cat? Wheres the outrage?

My God, what is our government thinking? Who is protecting us from ourselves!!!!!!

Where else and who else could turn a 3 page proposal into a 451 page ode to campaign finance reform

Which is the only finance that needs reformed because America needs bailed out.

It's all about the money, just not ours.

You have to wonder - Obama's promise is to make all laws available online in their final form for public review for five days before signing.

In a 'crisis' like this would he throw that out?

I hope to the deity of your choice(s) that you guys are calling and emailing your representatives.
For once, I am.
I'm tired of pork, silliness and endless tack on's and just plain stupid.
Everytime I drive towards Washington DC (west of me) I feel my IQ dropping. I used to think it was related to West Virginia (where I grew up) - now I know it's Washington DC - home of stupid, birthplace of legalized graft.

I've been calling them all day...
They lied to me.
I was assured that the "provision for a half-dead cranky bast**d to buy the boat and motorhome of his choice" provision would be included.
Needless to say, I'm pizzed.

Maybe we gotta do it, but I won't be happy about it until:
1) Lots of the greedy SOBs that caused it, lose their shirts.
2) The worst of them go to jail.

But who thinks this will actually happen?
