The voters are sitting on their apathy.
There are few informed voters as 1) it really hard to get straight info and 2) eveyone's too busy watching...So you think you can dance..or got talent...or Lost...etc.
There isn't a media source anymore and I wonder if there ever really was. I think once the media realized they could 'hide' a Presidential hopeful's handicap (polio) it was all over. No, I don't mean to suggest that someone with PC 'a physical challange' shouldn't be President. I'm just pointing out something from one of those history programs I like to watch.
Now Im from Canada and we sure have had our share of stupid politcians but Im dumbfounded about how stupid this woman appears and has the potential to be the next President of the USA...

Well, with all the negitive media attention Palin's been getting, I'm hoping for a really great debate. After all, if the guys want to think you're a bimbo then go ahead and let them. That way they won't be prepared when she comes out swinging. Seems like that's what happened in Alaska.
I watched the CBS interview. She was handled gently, and her gaffs were her own.
I suspect that tonights debate will prove or disprove whether or not she's a Bimbo.

You noticed that did you? Seems everybody else in the media has overlooked that not so minor detail. Of course, we know that running for the governorship of Alaska is not akin to running for the governorship of a real state don't we?

Has it occurred to anyone that politics itself has become so corrupt, sordid and in its current form, so utterly incapable of constructive change that the quality of candidates for higher office is now restricted to people-pleasing ideologues and ruthless power mongers?
A more dim, mendacious, conniving, compromised slate of candidates would be hard to imagine. Current events are making me think "Well, Nixon had some good points...he wouldn't have stooped to this..."
Which is akin to remembering Hitler for constructing the Autobahn and liking dogs and watercolours, really.
