Dear American friends...

now that your banks and larger economical/social/institutions are owned by the Governement, and your taxes will be reduced, I would like to give you the warmest welcome to Socialism...the real one, (not the one we have in Western Europe, that's Social Democracy, a bit different, as we are free, and it works and contrary to your beliefs, the governemnt doesn't control us, well at least less than your does to you)...

Anyway...soon you will have socialized democracy and actually vote for a President and a Senate...for real, with a paper and a cross, (all people will get to vote, not just a few select)...

Next will be the Social Security and soon you will have nationalized health care...

Anyway..

The only thing the government intends for the US citizens to own at the end of the day is the bad debt. This isn't socialization, it's just another chapter in the largest transfer of public funds into the private hands of the people in charge in the history of the country.

What I find simply incredulous is that to get the bill passed they are adding a tax cut and boosting the FIDC cap to 250,000. So.. let's see. The poor are screwed (loose their homes), the US taxpayers foot the bill (buy the bad debt) and the rich fools that came up with these moronic financial instruments get protected (FDIC cap raised)?!? _And_ we reduce the revenue to the government (tax cut) at the same time we go deeper in debt (another 700 bil, which to be honest is chump change compared to what we already owe)?

Huh?

Well, at least our next president is protected from all forms of witchcraft, that should be helpful.

Oh well, how pure it must be in the land of the socialist.
Before you get too attracted to it, check out the Belgian National Debt.
If you think your debt is bad, check out theirs. Yes Belguim, capital Brussels, in the centre of the glorious socialist EU. Ho man, it would make you choke on your chocolates!
Yes, that glorious democratic institution, with its more-glorious debt, and ever deepening.
Run for the benefit of the people of course, but they seem to get ever-deeper into debt... the people, that is, definitely not the politicians. They don't even have to claim for their expenses... they just get them. What an example they set. Don't follow it, whatever you do, or your household will be bankrupt in about 3 months.

And the cabal that run it, the European Comission?... not a single one of them is elected.... not one.... they are all appointees.

And whatever you do, don't take lectures from them on financial probity. They haven't got a clue, apart from how to sign an expense form.
