Pappy...the yellowcake is unrelated to the Wilson stuff. It was known and documented by the UN inspectors and it pre-dated 1991. Your article says this:
"Later, U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War. There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said."

Wish it WERE true...but then, it would have been a much bigger story than it was in July.

I guess as some sail on boats and worry about their sail trim, they can take time out about checklists and points-scoring and Bush-Bashing, and think nothing about barbarism like this.

I guess it depends on which end of the horse-whip you are. That looks like utter agony to me. It still shocks me to the core. How do you do such a thing?

The Iraqi dictator was an utter thug, who thought nothing of such barbarism. A $20 bit of rope stopped him, and his henchmen.

For all his faults, President Bush and young Americans and British stopped this barbarism, or most of it.

And that's a good enough reason for me.
