Good sailing movies or documentaries

Any recommendations out there? Just saw "Morning Light", the recently-released
documentary about the 2007 TransPac race in which generally unseasoned very young sailors were selected, trained and coached to compete against older, experienced sailors - a very good and exciting movie. Got me thinking about others that I might be missing...

"Windjammer" Great sailing movie from 50 years ago. This movie rocked my world in the theatre when I was a boy. Felt like I was on the boat.

I'm guessing this has been done on another thread already, but here goes...

For decent sailing action (at the end) the movie "Wind" is OK - not the world's greatest plot, and somewhat predictable but the on-the-water scenes with some battle scarred 12 meters are well done.. unlike "White Squall" which was pretty clearly done on a movie set.

Faster is correct, this was done on another thread, not that long ago.

I saw a great Gloucester fishing schooner movie years ago with two schooners racing in the Pacific, one ends up getting blown up (for real) great shots of real schooners racing at close quarters.

Any idea what it was called?

Name of Glochester fishing schooner movie

I believe it was called Captains Courageous 1937 Spencer Tracy. Brilliant film! Racing their schooners back to port. Also Around Cape Horn shot on Peking in the 1920s by Irving Johnson. Incredible. Cheers

Flicks

"Master and Commander", for sure.
"Around the Horn", an intense, black and white documentary about the last of the commercial tall ships.
