Great news

I know this is odd..but we're pretty happy..so I share it with you..

Our dog Benny, was diagnosed with a malign prostate cancer a few months ago...

We had him operated last month, and the bad stuff sent to a lab..it was malign...unfortunately.

Today we took him to the doctor, HE IS SAFE...none was passed to the rest of his body, and he is OK...

we cured him in time, thanks to my wife's care and attention...

This dog, obviously means a lot to kids, especially Fred, since the other one makes the dog nervous..(I wonder why...)...

Anyway..thanks for listening...I know it's ridiculous to talk about it...with all the sick people in the World..but the kids pretty happy...

Fred welcomed him home (he had a full haircut for the summer, that's why his hair is so short)...

I lost a pup to cancer last year. This year the kids gave me another one for Father's Day. I didn't want another one but he changed my mind.

We lost one to cancer once too. Not a pretty thing. You really get attached to the buggers. Glad all worked out well and Fred's a relieved and happy kid. Although he probably won't admit it, I'll bet his Dad is too.

I am suspicious of people who do not see how life can be immeasurably improved by the presence of a dog. I'm glad for the Giu family.

Giu...glad the operation went well. Now all we have left to pray for is the one to remove your head from your butt!

Cam,
That would not be an operation; that would be an excavation, perhaps requiring a backhoe and possibly an explosives permit.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
