You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Please tell me, Joel, that you see the voluminous errors in that video clip. I'd settle for your assurance that you do not regard it as serious political commentary but merely farce.

In all seriousness Guy, do you really think i consider that serious political commentary? I do however, find it amusing. I have my ear to the rail and read atleast 15-20 articles a day and they are all over the spectrum. Liberal, conservative, middle of the raod... you name it. Drudge, RCP, National Review,... and of course Daily KOS, Democratic Underground and other liberal stuff... as well as the major networks like FOX, CBS, ABC, ETC.... CNN, NPR... I can't claim to read them all like Sarah Palin but i certainly try to see the big picture... it's fun to me really.

oh no a DUmmer.... run hide etc

DU is not anywhere near the middle of the road, infact if you where on Interstate 81 N they would be on the Interstate 5 3000 miles to the left. the best way to get the real info is to read/watch/listen to the middle guys and only believe half of it and then throw in a sprinkle of right and left stuff, but stay away from far right and left totally.

DUers feel nancy pelosi should go to jail because she allowed bush to continue the war. infact daily there are people there calling themselves socialist democrats, socialists are not democratic, socialists dont believe in the ownership of private property, everything owned by everyone. the democratic systems starts with property rights as being one of the most important

joel if you read DU, daily kos, npr etc then you would need to read about 100 pages of normal mainstream media just to get back to near center

well then hello Sailor

its just DU is crazy left. they dont even understand the president of this country can declare war for 90 days before he has to get approval, then its only for the money end of it. the congress can stop the war anytime they want just close the wallet. so there is no such thing as an illegal war.

next right now they are having cows about 6 votes in WV flipping, but have no problem with thousands of fake voters with the help of acorn.

then they have a 1000 threads about how one woman in alaska said she wont vote for mccain because of palin. DU is the land of dupe threads

in maryland we have a county that had a 110 % percent voter turn out, my mother worked polls there and they added hundreds of votes at her precinct, all because the sign in sheet had hundreds more names thn they had votes. but the county vote 80 % democrat so you will never hear it in the news. but oh no lets call for the shut down of every voting machine due to what maybe 6 people who hit a wrong button.

lets see, they think a republican telling people to vote for mccain is voter intimidation, but they can walk to your house and force you to listen to em. and yes that happened where i live, to me.

story.... a knock at the door and a younger girl around 19 was wearing an obama shirt, tried to talk to me about obama, i told her i was voting for mccain and to have a nice day and i tried to shut the door. she pushed the door open and said if i did no give her at least a min it was because i was racist, how is that not intimidation
