Politically speaking . . . Marley was way further left than Buffett.

I love Buffett, but it feels like family defecting when he goes off and does something like that. It’s like that Buffett / Al gore / Disney thing with Hoot. Grrrrrrrrrrr! I’ve all but disowned my idiot brother in law for voting socialist but he can’t sing. I’ll have to hold my nose and swallow this Buffett thing and hope they all realize their mistakes in the near future. Doubt it.

/sigh I love Buffet's music.

He's always been a liberal though, and I know that.

When it comes to politics and art, the two should remain separate, and very distant because it's very easy to drive off fans.

Fortunately for Buffet though - I NEVER BUY his music. I steal it.

I mean, it's only fair - what with re-distribution and all....

I love Jimmy...great song writer...excellent novelist...puts on a great show and is a smart business man.
He hasn't really done anything good since Fruitcakes...but boy that is still one hell of a catalogue of songs we know by heart.
Maybe on election day he can simply be a Frenchman for the Night!
Hopefully he'll have learned his lesson by 2012 and be playing at the Palin rally!
