Election 08 is coming to a close and I thought it would be nice to have a congratulatory thread for Senator soon to be President Obama and the other candidates who won their elections. So .. congratulations to everyone!

i said a year ago i would rather see obama than clinton, well i will get to see what he does. i just think his plans wont work for many reasons, mostly where to get the money to do what he wants, our fiscal security has been going down for 40 years how much faster will it go.

but mark my words, anything obama cant do will be blamed on bush. he will when going out of office spend his last breath slamming bush

on a plus note its nice to be around for the first black president of the US.

Hey look, it says good things about your nation that the two leading candidates were an African American and a Woman (Clinton not Palin that is).

That you have elected a black man to the presidency is something that I wasn't all that sure I'd see in my lifetime. Good on you.

I hope he turns out OK but that's more because of my liberal leanings that anything else. He is , after all, just another politician. No better no worse in all probability but we shall see.

Yep, 914's. I have 4 of them. I haven't gone to any of the WCC's or RRC's or anything, I usually use my gas money on race gas. You'll probably see me on world or club or narp, too.

Guys, please keep your guns in their cases. This election was not even decided by the Supremes.
I have a question for some of you nay-sayers: " How could Obama/Biden **** up this country any more then the previous administration did?" The other shoe may not have dropped on that yet but I will check back over the next four years.

Caleb, I'm in your boat. In the last year 2/3rds of my clients (all businessmen) have had to abandon their hobby and I had to diversify into services that I no longer enjoy just to survive. They say that Dem's are bad for business but I can't imagine it getting much worse as a result of a president than what just happened to us.
