Pretty cool stinkpot.

While this isn't a sailboat, it is both unusual and a feat of engineering.

Why would anyone bother... and if that sucker tips over while on the foils, it gonna have some serious problems.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I'm guessing it goes at least 10mph fast than stock.

dog- It's a Bayliner....it has serious problems already.

It's a little like reconfiguring a macgregor to carry a 150 hp outboard.

Now don't give the MacGregor owners ideas! A MG with foils, whatever next? (It has sails to use as air-brakes for emergency stops)

I figured they could put up the main and use it for sway control. Get a few mac's set up that way and I'm seein' "racing series"!!!!!! Kind like NASCAR but on the water.

NASCAR on water? I thought that's what MacGregors did anyway! Isn't the whole point of them to go round in circles rapidly.

Smoother ride. The speed increase alone isn't enough to justify the cost.
