Harassment class

How American corporations are turning us into, well, Canada.

Training Day by Bill Whittle on National Review Online

The writer captures exactly the feeling that so many of us have vaguely felt in such circumstances. All we need now are the tribunals and we'll be, a province? (g)

More evidence that the adults have abdicated.

Probably! (g)

It's not enough, today, to give offense or commit a crime. It must be harassment, some type of civil rights offense, or a hate crime to be "real". As the writer states, what's wrong with just calling it improper anti-social behavior and dealing with it as we always have?

Just remember, even though a spade is a specific type of shovel, you can't call a spade a spade, ya gotta call it a shovel. Come to think of it, why haven't they made anybody change the name of the suits of cards?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I don't know why you are complaining...

Actually that is what you guys do best...complain....

Instead of complaining...why don't you just get up your fat butt and take action?? rebel..insurge...honour your forfathers..that's what they did and succeeded...why stop all of a sudden???

I tell you why..because the US became a nation of self centerd comformist moraly lazy people....bundled by the string of the false politically correctness...fake racism..and fear of offending the neighbour.....

You dug that whole, and allowed "them" to get to that stage...now PAY THE CONSEQUENCES.....

I was once, in the US, "invited" to assist a class on "moral behaviour" and workplace "ethics"....I left within 10 minutes.....really...it was absurd....they were staring to tell me about sexual harrasment, and racist words...really..I kid you not...

If you need morons to tell you...that you can't behave like a moron..then something is very wrong....

Guess what..I did my job, and no one ever bothered me why I did'nt go...

Rockter will become famous soon enough
If Americans are lazy, then in Europe they must be dead.

Is anyone seriously claiming here that a typical European works harder than a typical American???????? That's Europe with 22 days statutory days hoiliday (4 weeks+) legal entitlement from day one?

Damn it Guil. This is nonsense.

This has to be a tail-pull, surely?

There is a bigger issue in todays workplace at least for the business owner than sexual harassment. It's called a "hostile work environment" and businesses are commonly being sued for it. I here from client's on a regular basis about it. And the average amount of damages is between $150,000. - $185,000. If the plaintiff wins (which commonly happens) it cost more for the business to fight that to pay. The sad part is what the average lawsuit is frivolous crap that shouldn't even be in court.

I agree with we "You dug that whole"
But not all of us.There are many of us here in what used to be the MELTING POT that do not agree where this country has gone. And have ben vocal about it.Have you ever ben to a school boadr meeting where the board spends as much on 297 disabled children as they do on an entire building and 1437 childred...Hint..you will be shouted down.

Now i admit that we have screwed the pooch....
You will be amazed at the people voting with there FEET and leaving...Watch in the next 10 years..
