Alex:

I’ve been here long enough to know this about your website persona:
• You love your Family and you are very proud of them.
• You are a good photographer.
• You are a good sailor and I’ve learned from your sailing posts and sailing videos, for which I send a sincere OBRIGADO!!!

Beyond that:
• You are a thin-skinned self-promoting buffoon.
• You are a website bully.
• From the way folks around here (especially the moderators) kowtow to you, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if you had an equity interest in Sailnet.
• Finally, you are a liar, as I have never received a private message from you.

Please instruct the Sailnet Administrator to delete my membership in this site and you won’t have to ignore me any longer. 

Paul
You have been banned for the following reason:
I told you to stay AWAY from Giu. You keep trying to start something. Take a week off. Final warning.
Date the ban will be lifted: 11-28-2008, 10:00 PM

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Since AE28 likes to post private messages and attack others I thought I'd share THIS one that I sent to him before he AGAIN attacked Giu and was temp banned. This is where he attacked Fred for posting in general sailing rather than off topic.

"
deleted post

Just deleted your post in response to Optimania (Fred). Fred is 10 years old and not permitted to post or read in off topic so we cut him some slack as Giulietta's son and an avid racing sailor.
Please refrain from further comments about Fred and/or Giulietta as it is clear you and he are at odds and he has been asked to do the same.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Cam"

The quotes in the OP come from a thread I started. Gui talks in the quotes about having PM'ed me, not AE28. I think he missunderstood.

It is generally a design flaw to use a fridge as a step IMHO.. means something wasn't very well thought out... Personally, I think the AE28, both the person and the boat are a waste of time and pointless.

All Thumbs, just remember trolls rarely let the facts get in the way of a good attack or rant.

Thin-skinned? You are calling Alex "thin-skinned?" Isn't that a bit like the pot calling the kettle black? As for "buffoon," well... we'll see who's the buffoon here.

And you'd be wrong. His favourite marine shopping place is West Marine, TTBOMK.

And you suffer from poor reading comprehension. He was saying he sent they guy you thought you had to defend a PM.

If all you really wanted to do was leave, all you had to do was leave. Or you could have PM'd one of the mods. Either way would've given you the option of coming back later if you changed your mind. Instead you chose to go out in blink of glory--attempting to Make A Point. Now you have to leave, lest you make an even bigger spectacle of yourself than you have already. Should you ever choose to come back, you'll kinda have to come back as somebody else and you'll have to keep your head low, lest you be made.

Who's the buffoon?

Jim
