I'm inclined to agree with you regarding Obama, although that's pure speculation at this point, but some big shots in the Democrat party are scared to death that they will be dragged into it. Why do you suppose the Dems are all claiming that Blagojevich is insane? They're afraid he'll flip for the prosecutor, in order to get a lighter sentence for himself and his wife, and start talking about all sorts of illegal and unethical discussions he has had with other high-ranking Dems. They want us all to think Blagojevich is nuts, so that anything he says about them will be discredited. If the Feds get serious about investigating this, it'll become the Dem's "Watergate." I hope nobody seriously believes this was an isolated incident.

Good news flash, but it brings up the question, Why then, didn't anybody expose this guy ?? Had it not been for Fitzgerald dropping this egg now, Blagojevich would have succeeding in selling a Senate to the highest bidder, and everyone either knew what was going on and purposly closed thier eyes to it.
Also, to think for a second a Ex Illinois State Senator & newly elected American Gangster President knew nothing, is down right F'n BS & scary.
How could anybody be so F'n ignorant as to who they work and associate with is beyond me, and we are suppose to trust him with our live ???
This jackoff is lucky the media loves him.............for now

Blagojevich has been under investigation for a long, long time. That's one of the reasons why everybody thinks he's so insane. Why would you have these kinds of telephone conversations when you know you're under investigation?
I don't think Obama is corrupt. In fact, I think he's remarkably clean, especially for having risen up through Chicago machine politics. Then again President Truman rose up through a similarly corrupt machine, and remained remarkably clean through it all.

Personally ... I think Fitz may be the only one we've heard from who actually has *honest* bones in his bod ...
Don't think he's got enough = yet = to *officially* involve new Maybe Pres ...
But, all, just wait till Gov. starts to try to save his neck ... Bet he'll give 'em all up = even his *Momma* ...
Gov.'s probably gonna get really desperate ...
All Best, ... RR ...
Sorry for big & bold = & dots = bad eyesight ...makes it easier for me to proof-read ...

Fitzgerald may not have enough to convict the governor. Pat Buchanan pointed out that he hasn't actually DONE anything that's illegal. I don't know that this is true, but that's Buchanan's opinion. Blagojevich will be removed from office one way or another because of what he's said, but there are those out there who think Fitzgerald jumped the gun. Maybe Fitz should have waited Blagojevich to receive the funds from his senator of choice, and then moved in?

My Lawyer buddy in Chicago advises that Fitz moved now so as to eliminate any chance he would be fired by new Pres ...
So far, (among other things), he will be charged with *conspiracy* = and that's a *group-Offense* = where-as once money is delivered it could have whittled down the list of people in the drag net ...
The word is that with the w/taps the evidence against him & a bunch of his cronies is as *etched in stone* as any evidence has ever been ... but you're right we'll just have to wait and see ...
Buying a jury in Chicago has been done before ...
Best, ... RR ...

Fitzgerald wasn't working on this case by himself. He's working with lots of fellow prosecutors on one of the biggest cases of their careers. Moreover, Fitzgerald doesn't need this gig. I think he'll do okay were he to be fired, and I think it would look a wee-bit suspicious if Obama were to fire him in the midst of this particular investigation.

I thought being corrupt was mandatory for any Illinois politician. Who are we kidding it's mandatory for ANY politician.
